Tips for using the Sculpey Tools Oven safe Jewelry mold - - Preheat the mold in oven for 15 minutes at 275 F. Remove and allow the mold to cool down until it is comfortable for you to handle, while still being warm. - Fill the mold shapes you want to make with Liquid Sculpey- Tap the mold to check for air bubbles. Pop all air bubbles using a needle tool or toothpick.- Make sure the post is not covered. Also make sure the Liquid Sculpey is all around the post so that the hole will be even. - The large oval is designed to have one of the smaller shapes hanging from the middle of it. Maximum Creativity - - For simple, yet cool designs try marbling two colors in the mold before baking. - Use 2 different colors in the mold - one on the top of the shape and one on the bottom for a unique color blocking look! - To add more interest add glitter, spices or mica powder to your Liquid Sculpey before adding it to the Jewelry mold. - Use a crystal or bead to dangle from the middle of the large oval for a mixed media look.
